TRU Bowl Westlake Village

Recently, my husband and I visited TRU Bowl Superfood Bar in Westlake Village. We were in the area at a local bookstore and made our way over to TRU Bowl for some smoothies and açaí bowls. The cafe is modern, bright and clean inside. What’s great about TRU Bowl is that you can see all their fresh fruit offerings behind the plexiglass counter. So, for those who want to make their own custom craft bowl, you can point to the different … [Read more...]

Bench_Roger's Gardens - horizontal

Earlier this month, my husband and I left our home in the San Fernando Valley for a weekend getaway in Irvine. We’ve visited different areas of Orange County in the past, but never had the opportunity to really check out Irvine. With Hilton Irvine/Orange County as our home base, we got to explore places that I’ve always wanted to visit! Hilton Irvine OC is conveniently located near John Wayne/Orange County Airport, making it a perfect … [Read more...]

Marina del Rey Marriott

This summer, since we didn’t have any ‘big’ vacations planned, we decided to head over to Marina del Rey for a fun, family staycation. We love Marina del Rey with its beautiful weather, walkability, and lots of fun things to choose from! Summers are warm in the San Fernando Valley, so we wanted to take advantage of the mild temps in Marina del Rey and do as many outdoor activities as possible. With Marina del Rey Marriott as our home … [Read more...]

My dad loves sushi, and I wanted to treat my parents to a nice place! They offer a nice sized patio, but we opted to eat indoors since it was lunchtime … [Read more...]
