Highlights from Natural Products Expo West 2026

Posted on March 23, 2026 | Filed Under: Food, Local Events | Tags: Awake Chocolates, Eat Happy Kitchen, Expo West, Matter Compostable, Mezete | 11 Comments

Earlier this month, I attended Natural Products Expo West. It was held at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Anaheim Convention Center

Expo West is the world’s largest trade show dedicated to the natural, organic, and healthy products industry. The conference is spread across four days and although I was only able to attend one day, I made the most of it!

Below are the highlights that caught my eye and taste buds too!

Mightylicious

Mightylicious is a woman-owned brand that makes gluten-free cookies. While chatting with the owner at Expo West, I found out that the two most popular cookie flavors are Brown Butter Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Coconut.

Mi Rancho

One of my favorite bites to eat at Expo West came from Mi Rancho. They have a line of soft tortillas as well as salsas.

The crunchy tortillas (see photo below) will debut at retailers soon.

Safe Catch

Safe Catch is the only label that tests every tuna they catch. I have peace of mind knowing that their tuna is sustainably caught and lower in mercury.

They were handing out samples of their new fish nuggets and I found them to be tasty!

Awake

Need help staying awake? Awake Chocolates come in a variety of flavors. Their chocolate bites are individually wrapped, and each bite contains half a cup of coffee.

Eat Happy Kitchen

Anna Vocino is the founder of Eat Happy Kitchen.

Her line of products include pasta sauces, seasonings, and cheese bites!

Mezete

Mezete offers authentic Middle Eastern flavors in an extensive product line from hummus to baba ghanouj, tahini sauces, and soups.

Mezete Tahini

What’s unique about their hummus is that it is shelf-stable and can be stored without refrigeration for 18 months. Their hummus with breadsticks snack packages will come in handy during long car tips. I’m definitely recommending this to my mom friends who have after-school sports activities!

Matter

Matter has wide range of household products that are durable, sustainable and most of all compostable! Their offerings include earth-friendly sandwich bags, food storage containers, trash bags, and more!

Matter Compostable

Ditch the red cup and go green with Matter!

I had a great time learning and discovering so many wonderful food products and brands! Thanks, Expo West for inviting me.

So tell me, which of these items would you most like to try?
