Happy Place is a pop-up interactive experience located in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA). Similar to the Museum of Ice Cream or The Broad's Infinity Mirrors exhibit, the Happy Place is a visual installation/multi-sensory art space – not to mention an Instagrammer's dream! When you first walk into their lobby area, you watch a short video where they explain the rules of how the Happy Place. Once you enter a room, you’ll have time to check it … [Read more...]

L.A. Zoo Lights Twinkle Tunnel 2

L.A. Zoo Lights is back once again for all to enjoy! It’s the Los Angeles Zoo’s fourth year in a row to host this stunning extravaganza. This past Friday, my family attended the opening night festivities & we were thoroughly wowed by it all! After we went through the L.A. Fresh Step Aaron's Animals

This post is part of a campaign sponsored by Fresh Step. All opinions are my own. Did you know that National Cat Day is this Sunday, October 29th? Recently I visited the Amanda Foundation animal shelter in Beverly Hills to celebrate #CatLuv & to learn more about cat adoptions. During this event, I met with digital video sensation Zach King (you might know him as Final Cut King) & Aaron Benitez (the brains behind Aaron’s Animals) … [Read more...]

The Broad DTLA Crosswalk

The Broad Museum is located in downtown Los Angeles. It’s a very unique & beautiful building, situated on the corner of Grand Avenue & 2nd Street. Now I’ve been to this area of DTLA a few times in the last year, having visited the Walt Disney Concert Hall across the street. However, this was my first trip to the area since the colorful crosswalk (Couleur Additive) was painted by artist Carlos Cruz-Diez. Once we got into the … [Read more...]
