Disclosure: I was invited to an event hosted by MomsLA & Cafe MangoSix – all opinions are my own.
Cafe MangoSix is located on trendy West 3rd Street in Los Angeles, just down the ways from Magnolia Bakery & Joan’s on Third. They serve salads, sandwiches, organic coffee/tea, smoothies, lemonade & baked goods. What sets this cafe apart from those eateries is its love of all things mango & also their Asian boba drinks.
Cafe MangoSix is very popular in Asia. This is its first store in the United States. Parking is FREE behind the store – just make sure to show your receipt to the valet person. The interior is light & bright. They have table seating (indoors & outdoors), as well as a small bar to sit at & a nice flat screen tv on one of the walls.
Ok, on to the good stuff! I tried their Asian salad with fresh mango & grilled chicken – so yummy! I loved the wasabi & yuzu dressing. I also had an iced English Breakfast milk tea with boba.
I have to say that my favorite item is their mango spoon juice, which consists of mango & coconut juice topped with frozen yogurt & fresh mango. I had mine with boba on the bottom. It was so delicious & refreshing!
I love that everything is fresh & organic. Even their frozen yogurt is organic & they do have a vegan frozen yogurt option. All baked goods are sourced from Crumb Fairy, which is a local LA bakery.
If you are in the area, you should definitely give Cafe MangoSix a try!
