The Oscars are this Sunday & while I didn’t get to see every movie on my list, I still plan on making my picks for the Oscar pool that I am in. I often joke with people about how Oscar Sunday is my Super Bowl. I get out the snacks ahead of time, watch all of the pregame coverage or in this case, the red-carpet interviews where fashion critics ask “who are you wearing??” all the while texting my friends Ann & Linda about the speeches & the dresses.
Movies & popcorn go hand in hand, so I’ll be snacking on G.H. Cretors’ organic non-GMO popped corn during the Oscar award show. Two of my favorite flavors from their product line are the Simply Salted and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. For this new organic line, they use only simple, high-quality ingredients, including: non-GMO popcorn, 100% organic oils & pure sea salt.
Tonight my hubby & daughter will be going out to her school’s annual father-daughter dance. Since I’ll have the house to myself, I’m thinking of firing up the TV & renting a movie on-demand! There are quite a few Oscar nominated that are on-demand, hmmmm…Birdman or Boyhood, which should I pick tonight?!?
Super Bowl Sunday has their buffalo wings & pizza, but on this Oscar Sunday, I’ll be munching on organic popcorn from G.H. Cretors & checking off my ballot. In my pool, the loser treats the winner to lunch, so hopefully I’ll win this year because for the last two years I’ve had to pay! 🙂

I’ve got baguette, artichoke dip and spring rolls. Along with a celebratory beverage. Looking forward to seeing who wins our Oscar pool. Which flavor of the popcorn did you end up liking best? I’m more of a “lightly salted” gal.
I like both flavors, but I think you’d enjoy Simply Salted. I can’t believe you won again! Looks like lunch is on me. 🙂
