Rose Cafe & Bakery in Granada Hills

Posted on January 13, 2026 | Filed Under: Food, Reviews | Tags: Granada Hills restaurants, North Valley breakfast spots, Rose Cafe & Bakery, SFV eateries | 9 Comments

A new cafe opened up in my neighborhood recently and I finally had a chance to try it out with my husband. Rose Cafe & Bakery is located on the corner of Chatsworth Street and Yarmouth Avenue.

It’s a cozy eatery with about a dozen tables inside. After settling into our table, we ordered an orange juice and vanilla latte with almond milk.

There were so many yummy things on the menu. My husband had just finished running a 5k race, so he was famished, and decided to get an omelet with potatoes, plus biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were a little dense, not light and flaky. However, the omelet was tasty. (I had a bite!)

I usually like savory breakfasts. Eggs and bacon, chilaquiles or shakshuka are my go-to breakfast orders. This time I opted for blueberry pancakes, eggs and sausage. It was yummy and huuuge! I ended up sharing it with my hubby.

We had a great experience at Rose Cafe & Bakery!

The waitresses are friendly and I love that it’s close enough that we can walk to the cafe from our house. I can’t wait to go back for lunch and their mini pies that I saw in their bakery display case! 😉

I loved your glowing review. Your descriptions of the airy atmosphere, fresh pastries, and flavorful breakfast dishes made me feel like I was right there enjoying it too. Your recommendation of their lox bagel and seasonal bakes really stood out as must-tries, and the cozy vibe you captured makes Rose Café & Bakery feel like a perfect local gem. Thanks for sharing such a delicious and inviting spot. I can’t wait to stop by and taste these treats myself.

I love a place with a bakery! This looks like a delicious spot to dine. I’d certainly get one of those pies on the way out.

It sounds like a great new place to visit and one that will be popular too. The food that you both had sounds wonderful. The portions look like they are a good size too. The omelette is something both my husband and I would enjoy. I have never tried blueberry pancakes. I know, I haven’t lived, right!!! Those sound soooo good, I am tempted, might be a dish to share though x

This looks like a cute and cozy little diner. The blueberry pancakes and the omelette looks so good. I’m not a huge breakfast fan and I could go for those options.
