“Armorsaurs” is a television show currently airing on Disney XD and is set to premiere on Disney+ on February 18. I recently had the opportunity to attend an exclusive “Armorsaurs” media event where I met the cast and crew. Plus, I got a sneak peek at the brand-new toy line from MGA Entertainment!
The event kicked off at MGA headquarters with a walk-through of an immersive set piece that felt as though it had been transported directly from the show’s South Korean production studio. After settling in our seats, the cast and creators joined us for an engaging Q&A session moderated by Andrew Russell, who is also a series regular on the show.
“Armorsaurs” follows a team of teen pilots and their armored dinosaurs, who are humanity’s last line of defense against an advanced alien race intent on returning to Earth to replenish their army of prehistoric fighting dinosaurs. Chosen for a rare genetic marker, our five young heroes are trained in the top-secret initiative known as the Armorsaurs Program to bond with these creatures and operate the sophisticated battle armor that turns these prehistoric beasts into a formidable fighting force. Together, our five young heroes and the dinosaurs must lead the fight to defend the planet in a heroic battle of survival, millions of years in the making.
After the panel session, I moved into individual interviews, starting with Sade Louise (Prisca) and Avianna Mynhier (Paloma). Since they play sisters on screen, I asked if they shared any traits with their characters.

Next, I chatted with Andrew Russell and Jailen Bates to find out about fan reactions to their characters Dr. Chandler and Liam Roberts.

Then it was time to take a closer look at the toys and apparel from MGA Entertainment!
Greg Mitchel, Vice President of Brand Marketing, showed us the armored dinosaurs and action figures that will launch in March at Target, Walmart and Amazon.
All in all, it was a very cool experience. It’s been a while since I’ve attended an in-person media junket. Also, I used to work in the toy industry (many years ago), so this event really spoke to my heart!
Disclosure: No monetary compensation was received for this post. I attended a media event which helped facilitate this review. All images are my own unless otherwise noted. As always, my opinions are 100% my own.

These are such cute toys! I will have to watch the show as well. It sounds like it’ll be a good one.
