My Top 10 Workout Songs

During my spin class this morning, I found myself lost in the music that was blaring from the speaker system. It got me thinking…what are my top 10 songs to workout to?

  1. Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
  2. Stronger by Kanye West
  3. Feel this Moment by Pitbull (with Christina Aguilera)
  4. Mama Said Knock You Out by LL Cool J
  5. Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke
  6. Fly Away by Lenny Kravitz
  7. California Love by 2Pac, Dr. Dre & Roger Troutman
  8. Lose Yourself by Eminem
  9. Intergalactic by The Beastie Boys
  10. Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars

As you can see, my list leans towards Hip Hop and R&B music. The beat & the tempo of the songs help me push through it, whether I am jogging on a treadmill or outdoors. When I’m taking a Boot Camp or Spin Class, obviously I’m at the mercy of the instructor – who will inevitably play a Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus song. WHY?!?

So what are your favorite songs to work out to? Would love to hear from you, so please sound off below in the comments!

LOL I have half of your playlist on my running playlist! Here are a few of mine:
    Lights – Ellie Goulding
    It’s Alright – Matt & Kim
    22 – Taylor Swift
    F*ck Tha Police – NWA
    Supermassive Black Hole – Muse

I love that Ellie Goulding song! I do like “22” as well, but I’m closer in age to those parody songs they have on YouTube. It’s a fun song though! 🙂
