The Pure Bar – Organic & Vegan Snacks

Posted on September 24, 2014 | Filed Under: Food | Tags: Pure Bar, Pure Fruit & Nut Bars, Pure Fruit & Veggie Strips | 6 Comments

I’m always on the hunt for healthy snacks for my family. If you follow me on social media, then you probably already know by now that I like to grab a snack bar after I finish a hard workout. That’s not always ideal since these fruit & nut bars are sometimes full of sugar & high in calories. Also, do you ever truly know what’s inside that energy bar? Well look no further than Pure Fruit & Nut Bars!

Pure Fruit & Nut Bars

These fruit & nut bars are certified organic, gluten-free. non-GMO & vegan to boot! The Chocolate Chunk Nut Bar that is shown on the right is my fave. It’s made up of grains like quinoa, flax seeds, & amaranth. I like the crunchy texture when I bite into it. Somehow that crunch makes it satisfying, don’t you think? Ok, maybe that’s just me. 😉  Also it’s not bad at 160 calories & 7 grams of sugar. So I get to satisfy my hunger after the gym (and who isn’t hungry after a workout?) but I don’t have the guilt.

The other one I really like is the Peanut Butter Chocolate one, because who doesn’t like Peanut Butter. At 160 calories & 5 grams of protein, that’s A-ok in my book!

The other healthy snack that I am excited to share is one that my kiddo loves! The Pure Fruit & Veggie Strips are perfect to pack in your child’s lunch bag. My daughter loves fruit roll-ups, but then I would worry about the sugar flavoring. The ones from Pure are made from organic, non-GMO fruit, plus vegetable purees & juices. There aren’t any artificial sweeteners, flavors or preservatives.
