HomeTown Buffet: Steaktastic Dishes, New Cinnabon Dessert + Giveaway!

It was only just two weeks ago that I joined a select group of bloggers for a media tasting at HomeTown Buffet in Burbank to sample their latest Steaktastic dishes & boy am I still thinking about it! If you like flavorful comfort food at an affordable price, then this is the place for you.

First I sampled the traditional dishes that are found at the buffet stations. I picked up some veggies, a salad & meatloaf.

I also got this awesome Asiago Cheese Ravioli dish. I just love the little container that the ravioli came in, isn’t it cute?! It was SO tasty & by far one of my favorite dishes at the luncheon. For my vegetarian friends, this is the dish that you’ll want to try.  🙂

Then it was time to sample the NEW Steaktastic dishes. I tried the Sirloin with Potatoes O’Brien (top left), the Sirloin with Potatoes Au Gratin (bottom left) & the Sirloin Steakhouse Chili (right). I also tried the Country Fried Steak & Chipped Beef Steak (not pictured). All were equally tasty, but my favorite was the Steakhouse Chili. Who doesn’t love chili on a cold, winter day?!

It’s so convenient that these Steaktastic dishes are individually portioned in these skillet-like pans…just grab it & go! The new Steaktastic items came out last month & are available for a limited time.

We also sampled the new Cinnabon dessert. Yummy! NOTE: This sweet treat is exclusive to Los Angeles-area HomeTown Buffet restaurants (for now).

It’s such a tiny treat that you don’t feel quite so guilty about eating it. I mean, if it fits in the palm of your hand, than it can’t be that bad, right? 😉

Speaking of tiny treats, we also sampled these little cheesecake desserts – Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake Shooter (left) & Blueberry Cheesecake Shooter (right).
