NEW Jennie-O Turkey Tacos at Del Taco + Giveaway

I try to be mindful of what I am eating & the type of meals my family consumes. During family vacations & weekend outings, it is inevitable that we’ll stop at a fast-casual restaurant or fast-food place for lunch. When I heard that Del Taco recently launched their new Turkey products that contain a lean seasoned ground turkey recipe by Jennie-O, I knew that I had to try it! You see, my family loves Mexican food. If it were up to my husband it would be “Taco Tuesday” at least twice a week!  😉

Last weekend, my family had been on-the-go all day long. I was tired from the day’s events & cooking dinner was the last thing on my mind. We decided to head out to our local Del Taco.

My husband ordered two turkey tacos made with the crunchy corn tortilla shell. For him, there is nothing more satisfying than hearing that loud crunch when you bite into a hard-shell taco.

You can also get this same turkey taco in a soft flour tortilla. If you’re indecisive like me, you can get one of each.

Both tacos contain the seasoned ground Jennie-O turkey (which has 33 percent less fat than Del Taco’s seasoned beef), crisp lettuce, freshly grated cheddar & freshly made pico de gallo salsa.
