It’s Fall & for some folks it means enjoying the outdoors while the weather is still good with cooler temps & crisp air! Although I have to confess we are still dealing with warm temps here in SoCal. For some people, the Fall season means curling up with a good book or inviting a group of friends over to watch a good movie on Saturday night. Well with the movie Paper Towns you can do ALL of that & more!
As I’m sure many of you know, Paper Towns is the bestselling novel by John Green. The book has been adapted into a movie & stars Cara Delevingne & Nat Wolff. In case you didn’t know, Cara is an English actress, fashion model, singer AND bestie to Taylor Swift!
For those of you who need a little background on Paper Towns, here is a quick rundown:
The story focuses on Quentin, a high school senior who has been in love with his enigmatic neighbor Margo since childhood. After taking him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, Margo suddenly disappears–leaving behind cryptic clues for Quentin to decipher. The search leads Quentin and his quick-witted friends on an exhilarating adventure that is equal parts hilarious and moving. Ultimately, to track down Margo, Q must find a deeper understanding of friendship–and true love.
Have you ever been on a road trip?
I remember driving from California to Florida with my aunts, uncles & cousins one summer. It provided a lot of memories that I still look back on to this day! With the Paper Towns movie AND book, you can follow along as the characters road-trip across America!
Like I had mentioned earlier, Fall brings a great opportunity to dive into a good book. If you’d like to get together with your friends or maybe have your teen daughter start her own Paper Towns book club, here is a great guide to get you started!
If you are limited on time & not able to read the book OR maybe you’re like me & just prefer watching movies, then here is a fun little invitation that you can email to your girlfriends!
Whether it is reading the book, watching the movie or better yet, doing BOTH – there are so many fun ways to dive into this movie!
Paper Towns is available right now on Digital HD! It releases on Blu-ray/DVD on October 20th!
