Delicious Neapolitan Pizza from #MidiCi in Sherman Oaks!

Posted on November 20, 2015 | Filed Under: Food | Tags: Italian food San Fernando Valley, MidiCi, Sherman Oaks Italian restaurant | 2 Comments

Last month I had the pleasure of trying out a new restaurant called MidiCi. It is located in Sherman Oaks on Ventura Blvd & has been open since June 2015. Both the outside & inside are quite charming. I just love the saying that they have painted on the outside wall that faces Cedros Avenue.

At MidiCi, they make Neapolitan pizza with only the freshest, most natural ingredients that are GMO-free. For friends who have a gluten intolerance, take note that they do have gluten-free dough at MidiCi!

Their pizza ovens are cool! I mean just look at how the one chef works the ovens at MidiCi!

They also have this machine that cuts prosciutto fresh for your pizza!

I ordered the Pizza Bianca E Prosciutto which comes with mozzarella, oregano, garlic, parmigiano, arugula & prosciutto.

They have an awesome soda fountain machine, but I opted to get Italian soda. All you have to do is get carbonated water from the machine, then choose from these premium syrups.

I also ordered a Greek salad to go with my pizza. Got to eat my veggies! I mean, look how colorful this salad is on my plate.

Because a meal would not be complete without a dessert, I was treated to their signature Nutella calzone with fresh berries.

MidiCi_NutellaRemember how I said earlier that the restaurant was so charming? Check out this photo wall area of the restaurant. At MidiCi, they encourage you to take photos of your experience at the restaurant & share it with others.

What I love about this place is that it is not only about the food, which is yummy & made with premium ingredients & cooked with care, but the owner really wants you to enjoy the dining experience at MidiCi. I mean, who would think of planting a 50 year old olive tree in the middle of a restaurant & designing the place around it?

The owner explained that the olive tree is a universal emblem of the Mediterranean culture. Bottom line, at MidiCi, they honor not only food but tradition AND art.

MidiCi is a beautiful restaurant that is relaxed at the same time. It would make for a great Sunday dinner with family, a fun Saturday date night or even a place to go Friday after work! For more info, check out their website & Facebook page!

Thank you Patrick & Gary for making my luncheon an enjoyable one!
