The following post is sponsored by Victoria Fine Foods. All opinions are 100% my own.

How often do you cook pasta? If you cook it weekly, then you are probably like me & always searching for new recipes or variations of a classic standby to try out. Sure the ingredients make a difference in what you throw in with the pasta, but often times by changing up the pasta sauce, it will bring a whole new flavor into the mix!

Over the past few weeks I’ve had the chance to sample three flavors from Victoria Fine Foods: Roasted Garlic Sauce, Marinara & Fradiavolo (which translates to “Brother Devil”). The Fradiavolo sauce is a spicy number that will awaken your senses to a deliciously devilish experience. Victoria Fine Foods added a healthy dose of red crushed peppers to their Classic Marinara base. Trust me…it has a kick to it!

You’ll be happy to know that Victoria Fine Foods has over a dozen different pasta sauce flavors! They even a product line for vegans called “Victoria Vegan Sauce.”

Just the other day, I decided to make a pasta dish for my family using the Victoria Fine Foods Roasted Garlic Sauce. Here is the recipe!

Pasta with Tomato Basil Chicken

Prep time: 30 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients
1 jar (24 oz) Victoria Fine Foods Roasted Garlic Sauce
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 2 lbs)
Salt and pepper to taste
10-15 basil leaves, coarsely chopped, optional
1 ½ cup penne pasta

Directions

  • Cook penne pasta according to package directions & set aside.
  • Season chicken with salt & pepper. Cook it & then cut it up into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large skillet, heat the sauce. Add back in the cooked penne pasta & chicken.
  • All of the ingredients are cooked, so you just have to stir until warmed thoroughly.
  • Dish it out onto plates. Top with basil leaves. Enjoy!
