California Strawberry Festival 2017 {Giveaway}

The California Strawberry Festival is just around the corner! I can’t believe it was only just last year that I attended this yummy food fest with my family.

This two day festival is a strawberry lover’s paradise! The variety of strawberry drinks – from smoothies to strawberry wine & champagne is incredible.

They have traditional items like chocolate covered strawberries but my favorite food item is the Strawberry Nachos. We get the large size to share! 🙂

The 34th Annual California Strawberry Festival takes place on May 20 & 21 in Oxnard. There is a children’s area, “Strawberryland” for kids, where you can check out the rides & interactive attractions.

There is also a Berry Best Dressed Baby Contest happening that weekend, where infants up to four years of age are encouraged to participate to win prizes.

With over 50+ food booths, fun contests, celebrity chef demonstrations, concerts, plus hundreds of arts & crafts featured – there is SO much to see & do! In fact, the festival grounds have been expanded by 50% this year, on the parks 15 acres, so as to accommodate everything.

LOCATION
Strawberry Meadows of College Park, 3250 South Rose Avenue, Oxnard.
Oxnard is 60 miles north of Los Angeles and 30 miles south of Santa Barbara. Free park ‘n’ ride shuttles run from convenient locations just off the 101 freeway offer direct access. Limited parking is available on site for $10.

ADMISSION
Adults: $12; seniors 62+, active military and dependents with ID card: $8; Youths (5-12): $5, Free for kids 4 and under.
