Last fall, I was introduced to Carmel Berry’s fresh-pressed elderberry syrup. Until that time, I wasn’t aware of the properties surrounding elderberries – it’s high in antioxidants, much like the blueberry, and has many nutritional benefits, such as offering immune support. Fast-forward to early 2024 and Carmel Berry has developed Eldie, an immune support gummy made with 3900mg of organic elderberry that is sourced by farmers in the United States.

I was recently sent a sample of Eldie to try out. The packaging makes it really convenient to take with you on the go! In fact, when I travel this summer, I can just throw one of these pouches into my luggage and I’m good to go! Speaking of packaging, this particular pouch from Carmel Berry uses 80% less plastic than typical gummy bottles. Good for me and good for the planet! 🙂

I’ve been taking two gummies per day and there are 20 servings per pouch. With cold and flu season rampant during wintertime, I’m so glad to have this supplement, along with my Vitamin C!

The big difference between Carmel Berry’s Eldie Gummies and other gummy vitamins is that Carmel Berry’s product proudly contains high levels of actual elderberry grown in the United States. Many of the other elderberry gummies contain small levels of overprocessed elderberry and/or are created in a lab and refined with sweeteners. Carmel Berry uses zero refined sweeteners. In fact, their gummy is sweetened with only real fruit, plus it is vegan, gluten-free and gelatin-free.

Anything for the immune system is so good for us. I started taking Zinc awhile back right before the C flu and haven’t had a day of sickness. I hope its helping.
