Vkind Experience (VKX 2023): Immersive Vegan Event Comes to LA in November

Posted on October 24, 2023 | Filed Under: Food, Local Events | Tags: vegan food festival, Vkind App, Vkind Experience, VKX 2023 | 13 Comments

Vkind Experience (aka VKX 2023) is an exciting and transformative event hosted by Vkind, a search platform and community that makes it easy for you to connect with companies committed to sustainability. This one-of-a-kind immersive plant-based experience is taking place in LA on November 11th and 12th and you won’t want to miss it!

The event is centered around a “What if Plants Took Over the World” theme and will feature globally inspired food and drinks, immersive experiential installations, a lifestyle marketplace and music from a live DJ!

There is even free childcare for kids 5 and up. Billed as “The Kids Experience,” this dedicated, onsite complimentary service allows parents and guardians to fully engage in VKX while ensuring their children are well taken care of.

VKX 2023 transforms the 35,000-square-foot Magic Box in downtown Los Angeles into an amazing and multi-sensory experience. You’ll walk through 11 rooms, each with a different theme, featuring food and drinks, sights and sounds and even photo activations!

Among the 11 rooms, seven are themed after the different continents. There are four additional rooms themed after a specific concept, as well as a bonus 12th room.

The themed rooms include:

  • The African Experience
  • The Asian Experience
  • The European Experience
  • The North American Experience
  • The Oceania Experience
  • The Polar Experience
  • The South American Experience
  • The Fungi Experience
  • The Raw Food Experience
  • The Sweet Experience
  • The Kids Experience
  • The Network Experience (bonus 12th room)

The Network Experience is an outdoor lounge area with music and a sustainable boutique featuring vegan beauty and lifestyle brands. This area fosters the opportunity to connect and network with like-minded individuals.

As I mentioned earlier, VKX 2023 is hosted by Vkind, an online platform. VKX is committed to sustainability by minimizing waste, promoting plant-based catering and using eco-friendly materials. The company recently introduced The Vkind Travel Buddy, a feature within the Vkind App. The Vkind Travel Buddy allows you to build customized plant-based travel itineraries, accommodations, events and activities in the space of your destination.

The vegan lifestyle is a growing movement. I have several friends and family members who are vegan. Although I am not vegan, I like to lean into a plant-based lifestyle – like Meatless Mondays, eating at vegan restaurants and trying out plant-based recipes at home. (That’s not to say that I don’t enjoy a delicious hamburger now and then. I want to be transparent about my eating habits in this blog post because I do eat meat, chicken and fish on occasion.)

For me, VKX 2023 represents an experience that allows one to try new foods. I’ve seen chefs and cookbook authors come up with creative ways to present plant-based entrees, appetizers and desserts. This food festival celebrates that and more!

VKX 2023 is an opportunity for attendees to gain knowledge, connect with a vibrant community and contribute to a more sustainable and compassionate world. You won’t want to miss this experience that is sure to be fun for the whole family! For more information and to purchase your tickets, visit www.vkindexperience.com. As a mom always on the lookout for unique and educational family experiences, this event seems like a wonderful opportunity to explore the world of plant-based living. Your detailed description of the event, including its various themed rooms and family-friendly features like “The Kids Experience,” has piqued my interest. I have friends who are vegans, and I’m keen to learn more about the plant-based lifestyle and try new foods, even though I’m not fully vegan myself.
