Back when I was a pregnant mother, there was one or two maternity wellness/retail stores in the Valley that I frequented. To be honest, it was more about selling maternity wear and baby-related products and less about services for new or expecting moms. I’m happy to say that times have changed in the Valley and there is now a wellness concierge service called Mommy To Be Wellness. This Valley-based company offers mobile pregnancy spa services such as labor induction massage, natural induction reflexology, post-partum massage, and much more!
Not only does Mommy To Be Wellness provide mobile wellness services, but they often host events in and around Southern California. I sure wish the company had been around when I was pregnant with my daughter!
Please meet the latest Real Mom of the SFV – Rebecca, Founder of Mommy To Be Wellness!
How/why did you begin your business?
Rebecca: I founded M2B Wellness in 2010, shortly after the birth of my first daughter. As a massage therapist, kinesiologist, and quantum healer, motherhood revealed the unique and often unspoken challenges that new moms face. From balancing work and family to fertility struggles, miscarriages, and postpartum blues, I saw a common thread of silent struggles among the women in my life.
In the midst of busy cities, I realized that there were no soft spaces for mothers to rest, recharge, and reconnect with themselves. So, I created M2B Wellness, offering nurturing care directly in the comfort of their homes. Over time, I expanded our services by blending integrative Eastern and Western medicine, recognizing the need for holistic healing alongside modern healthcare to support women fully—mind, body, and spirit.
Growing up in my parents’ small family business, I developed a deep appreciation for entrepreneurship. My background in marketing, combined with my upbringing, fostered a passion for promoting other businesses and bringing people together. Naturally, this passion evolved into creating wellness events, uniting communities around integrative medicine. These events have become a way to not only support women on their health journeys but also to uplift other businesses in the wellness space.
At the core of M2B Wellness is the belief that women deserve more than just physical care. They deserve spaces to soften, reconnect with their intuition, and heal from within. What started as a personal mission has blossomed into a community—a movement to help women rediscover their strength, find balance, and feel supported in all stages of motherhood. Through M2B Wellness, we’re building a safe, healing, and empowering space for women to thrive.
What is one tip or piece of advice that you would give to other female entrepreneurs?
Rebecca: To tap into your true passion, start by asking yourself the powerful, soul-centered questions: What brings me the purest joy? What could I do every single day without needing a paycheck? What sparks my creativity and lights my fire? What fills me with inspiration every morning? These questions will guide you to your purpose. Once you gain clarity, turn that vision into a plan of action. But don’t rush—trust your intuition. Often, the path reveals itself step by step, like a gentle unfolding of what’s meant for you.
And here’s something important: don’t hesitate to outsource the parts of your business that don’t energize you. Free yourself to focus on what lights you up and let others handle the rest. Surround yourself with a community of like-minded souls who uplift and inspire you. Visualize your goals as if they are already accomplished—feel the joy, the fulfillment, and the energy it brings. When you truly believe in your vision, the universe aligns to help you create it. And then be grateful for each win!!
What do you like best about having a business in the San Fernando Valley?
Rebecca: We started serving the San Fernando Valley (SFV) because it’s not just where we live, but we are raising our kids in Studio City and they attend Carpenter Community Charter. I’ve always loved the Valley because it’s so family-oriented, with a real sense of community. You’d be surprised how many celebrities choose the down-to-earth vibes of the Valley to raise their kids and find a sense of normalcy in a city that can often feel far from grounding.
Since then, we’ve expanded throughout other areas of the Valley, the Westside, Orange County and the South Bay. However, all of our original network and trusted physicians are right here in the SFV. Our roots run deep in this community, and we’re proud to continue serving the families that make it such a special place.
If there was one thing you wish you knew before you began your business, what would that be?
Rebecca: In the early days of my journey, I operated largely in isolation, managing everything from massages to marketing on my own. I relied primarily on online visibility and referrals for growth, neglecting the vital aspects of networking and community outreach. To my defense I was also raising three small kids!
However, I’ve come to realize that collaboration is a game-changer. Engaging in cross-marketing and building an incredible team can reignite your passion and drive, especially when you’re running on empty. The mantra “people over profit” resonates deeply with me; prioritizing relationships and community over sheer financial gain creates a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
Additionally, mastering time management has been essential to my success. By effectively allocating my time and resources, I’ve been able to focus on what truly matters—nurturing connections and fostering a vibrant community.
Embracing these principles has transformed my approach and fueled my passion for integrative women’s wellness. Together, we can achieve so much more than we ever could alone.

This is a cool and unique business service she provides. I loved learning about her website,
This sounds like a great service. My babies are grown up. My youngest is 13. I wish that they had this in my daughter’s area. She is pregnant with my first grandson. I know most providers don’t focus on wellness like massage or other more natural approaches to things.
I can’t tell you how comforting it is to know there’s a space for expectant mothers to relax and recharge. I would’ve loved something like this when I was pregnant, it’s such a thoughtful service!
