Meet Cherillyn, Owner of BeBalanced Hormone Weight Loss Center in Woodland Hills

Posted on September 12, 2024 | Filed Under: Food & Fitness, Real Moms of the SFV | Tags: BeBalanced program, BeBalanced Woodland Hills, Cherillyn Olivos, hormone weight loss wellness center | 8 Comments

Earlier this year I was introduced to Cherillyn, the owner of BeBalanced Woodland Hills, at the 10th Annual SoCal Wellness Summit hosted by SoCal Moms. For those who follow my blog and social media, you know that I’ve been on a journey for getting back to my pre-pandemic weight. In addition to working out on a weekly basis, I’ve read books on women’s health and have used different fitness products.

One of the key reasons why I am interested in BeBalanced is because it is a center that focuses on hormone weight loss, a topic that I really resonates with me. Please meet Cherillyn, owner of BeBalanced Hormone Weight Loss Center in Woodland Hills!

How/why did you begin your business?

Cherillyn: I had a rough journey after having my son in 2022. Like many moms, I suffered from postpartum depression and anxiety. It took a toll on my mental health, marriage, and ability to be an optimal mother. I tried multiple avenues to “feel like myself again” including massages, physical therapy, mental therapy, acupuncture, etc. However, it felt as soon as one problem alleviated, a new one popped up. It was frustrating until I stumbled upon BeBalanced, a hormone weight loss wellness center. I loved its concept of balancing hormones naturally to help women lose weight and feel like themselves again, especially in their menopausal journey. I learned that the core cause of many of my issues were hormones and when I tried it and lost 18 lbs. my first month. However, I was even more elated to see my skin clear, sleep improved, and energy increased. But most importantly, my mental health improved almost instantly! In one month I felt a foundational reset to my body and mind and was able to enjoy my life with my son and my husband! With so many women also suffering from hormonal issues, I knew I had to bring this hormone balancing one-stop-shop to my community!

As a working mother, what is one tip or piece of advice that you would give to other female entrepreneurs?

Cherillyn: Being a working mother of a toddler was tough at times but becoming a working mother of a toddler and a newborn was a whole new ball game! Caring for my two young babies and my work baby took a lot of me. I would say keeping energy up by filling up on “good fuel” while managing stress levels is of utmost importance. A balanced diet, hydration, supplements, and sleep are a must for me, especially by not having caffeine! In addition, managing my cortisol is important to keep gas in my tank. So many of us can get into a normalized state of having high cortisol levels while balancing life. But when we’re in a heightened state of stress it depletes our good energy.

What do you like best about having a business in the San Fernando Valley?

Cherillyn: I love that I get to serve my community of women as well as men. There is so much joy and fulfillment in seeing people’s lives change for the better. After treating my initial clients, I realized that BeBalanced is way more than weight loss and health. Women are often the focal point in their families so when they feel better, have more energy and confidence, their positive vibes trickle down to their spouses, children, work and their circle! I believe that people deserve to look and feel their best without compromising their health and spending so much money. With our targeted affordable programs, people can bounce back to their best selves in as little as a few weeks.

If there was one thing you wish you knew before you began your business, what would that be?

Cherillyn: I wish I knew how easy it would be to get pregnant on my own product! It took five years of trying to have my first child so it was a major shock when I got pregnant on my first try this my second! Apparently, this is one of the “side effects” of balancing hormones! While I am blessed having a newborn, toddler, and my business, it has definitely had its challenges!

I am so excited to learn more about their “Becoming Balanced” program, which I’m told is their most popular program at the center. If you’d like to learn more, you can book a free consultation through their website just like me! Also, if you want to move forward with BeBalanced, use code “CherRealMoms” to get 20% off any program or supplement after booking a free consult here.

I love the idea. I’m sure that my weight is hormonal to an extent. I don’t always eat the best though so I know my weight isn’t all to blame on hormones. I suffer from chronic pain and I get burned out sometimes.
