Keysocks Knee High Socks

We’ve finally had a break from the heatwave & today’s temps are even cooler. While it’s not quite cool enough to break out the Uggs (although some LA hipsters my disagree), I decided to forgo the flip flops yesterday & wear knee high socks with my flats instead.

However these aren’t just your ordinary knee highs, these are Keysocks. These special socks are meant for wearing with flats or high heels as a “no show” sock. I just happened to take it up a notch & wear them so that they are visible. I liked the purple color & thought it looked cute with my sweater!

What is the purpose for wearing a “no show” sock? I’ve used footie socks on occasion when I want to keep my feet warm while I wear flats. Most of the time those footies slip off my heel & get stuck under the arch of my foot while walking. The Keysocks won’t bunch up because of the knee high design.

Keysocks are great for women who are in between shoe sizes. I typically wear a size 5 shoe, but depending on the style of the shoe, I sometimes need a 4 ½. Those shoes are hard to come by unless you are sneaker shopping in the kids department! 🙂 The thickness of the sock can help with half sizes & also prevent blisters. Have a problem with slipping out of those Fall flats or heels? Wear a Keysock!

There are two types of Keysocks. Regular and Wide Calf socks have a thickness that is similar to tights. The Lite socks are more like dress socks, are antimicrobial AND cool your feet 1-2 degrees in warmer weather. Win win! Also Keysocks come in a variety of colors – basic black, brown, neutral colors, as well colorful ones like turquoise or purple. I like having a pop of color, even if it is going to be hidden under my jeans! 🙂

There is one detail that I just have to point out, which is their key logo on the back of the socks. Isn’t that so clever?

So whether you wear these knee highs as “no show” socks or visible with your skirt like I did, these socks are perfect for keeping your feet warm & comfy.
