Sky High Sports: The Trampoline Place

Posted on October 13, 2014 | Filed Under: Mommy Stuff | Tags: Sky High Sports, trampoline dodgeball, Woodland Hills trampoline park | Leave a Comment

Every now & then, my daughter will have random days off from school. Sometimes it’s a holiday & other times it’s one of those teacher in-service days. We had one of those school vacation days about 2 weeks ago. So what’s a kid to do when you want to spend an hour or two with school friends? Rather than hosting a get-together at my house, I decided to call up my daughter’s BFF (well actually her mom) & schedule a play date at Sky High Sports which is located in Woodland Hills.

Sky High Sports is a trampoline fun center & play area. They have different types of trampolines, like this fun basketball one.

My daughter & her friend really enjoyed using the rope swing & landing in this foam pit!

The girls spent the majority of their time on this humongous trampoline, bouncing against the trampoline side-walls & chasing after each other & a younger sibling!

They even have two dodgeball courts for adult (and big-kid) play. So if you want to be like Vince Vaughn & play dodgeball on a trampoline court, then this is your place! Sky High also has weekly exercises classes that are called Trampoline AIR-obics. AIR-obics is low impact, fat-burning exercise that improves balance & coordination. I hear it’s quite the cardio workout!

Not only is Sky High a great place for play dates & exercising, but it’s also a wonderful location to host a birthday party. They have various celebration packages to choose from, a dedicated area to layout your food, drinks, gifts, etc. Another plus – they have lockers to store your gear so parents can keep their valuables safe.

Another added benefit at Sky High is the Parent’s Lounge with FREE WiFi!

Sky High Sports is located in Woodland Hills at the corner of De Soto Ave & Oxnard St. They have free parking in the back. One tip: You’ll want to save some time & fill out the liability waiver online before you go. There are several sections to fill out & you can always complete it at the location, on one of Sky High’s computers. However finishing it ahead of time is a definite time-saver, especially when you have kids who can’t wait to jump around!

If you’d like more information on Sky High Sports, check out their website & be sure to follow them on Facebook!

Disclosure: No monetary compensation was received for this post. I received complimentary passes to attend Sky High Sports in Woodland Hills, which helped facilitate this review. All images & opinions are 100% my own.
