Green Apple Active – Lifestyle and Fitness Apparel

Posted on August 31, 2015 | Filed Under: Fitness, Product Reviews | Tags: Green Apple Active, Moisture Wicking Organic Bamboo Apparel, Organic Cotton fitness apparel | 2 Comments

I tend to live in my workout clothes. At school drop-off, you’ll see me in my yoga pants or leggings with a loose top or tank. Lately I’ve been looking for an outfit that doesn’t scream “I just got out of my cycle class!” & for one that looks more like casual weekend or lounge wear. It’s important that either top or bottom piece can take me from the gym to a doctor’s appointment to school pick-up.

Remember when I went to BlogFest last month & I raved about a cute cardigan that I bought from Green Apple Active. Well, it’s through Green Apple Active that I found my perfect casual outfit.

My family & I went out the other weekend for lunch. My outfit consisted of:

  • Green Apple Active Vintage Short Sleeve Henley with Bamboo Buttons
  • Green Apple Watercolor Print Seamlined Capri
  • Momentum Jewelry Motivate Wrap
  • Birkenstock Sandals

My favorite color is purple, so I love that the outfit has purplish lavender colors. The leggings are super soft due to the sustainable & organic bamboo/cotton fibers. The stretchy fabric also contains a moisture wicking component, which is great because I like my fabrics to breathe when I am sweating it up at the gym! Although I wore this outfit to a weekend lunch, the leggings can be perfectly paired with one of my tank tops for the gym.

These extra details shown below on the Short Sleeve Henley shirt make it one of the reasons why I wanted this top. I love the contrast stitching, the dark purple print in the v-neck & the bamboo buttons. On one of the sleeves (in contrast stitching) is the saying “live organic live free…” which I think is a nice reminder.

If I want to make this outfit less matchy-matchy, then I can pair this henley shirt with black leggings, jeans or even shorts!

Another reason why I like Green Apple Active – they stand for what they believe in about the environment, right down to their shipping. Don’t forget to recycle the bags that contain your outfits!

You see at Green Apple, they are passionate about health & also the wellbeing of the planet. They source organically grown plant-based materials in ALL of their apparel. Even the hang tags that list the sizing on the clothes are printed on recycled cardstock paper with soy ink! I forgot to take a photo, so you’ll just have to trust me on that.  🙂

I honestly love this apparel line & I can’t wait to order more items. Green Apple Active tends to have sales on a regular basis. Also if you order through my affiliate link, you’ll automatically get 25% off on your first purchase! That’s a great deal, don’t you think?!

Tell me, have you heard of Green Apple Active? Check out their website & let me know which item YOU would want to purchase. Sound off in the comments section below. I’d love to hear!
