When I stopped by the Two Moms in the Raw booth at BlogFest, I was intrigued by the name. Naturally it was the food that led me to the booth, especially since they were passing out samples of several of their products. However it was the name of the company that got me wondering what this company was all about.
Shari Leidich is the founder of Two Moms in the Raw, a family-run company that makes 100% organic, gluten free, raw, sprouted, non-GMO granola, nut bars, crackers, cereal, and dessert truffles. Shari started making raw foods after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004.

One of the things I always try to pack in my exercise bag is a granola bar. That’s because after class I always run a list of errands & the last thing I want is to be “hangry” waiting in the checkout line.
The blueberry granola bar is packed with blueberries (of course), as well as chia seeds, hemp seeds & it is sweetened with coconut nectar. It provided the perfect crunch after my recent spinning class.
Sometimes while I am sitting at my desk, typing away at my blog, I need a little pick-me-up. One day I enjoyed the Almond Protein Crackers with some cheese & almonds. Another time I reached for the Charming Cherry Chocolate Nut Bar. The Nut Bar was delicious & packed with superfoods like almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, hemp seeds & cherries.
The Almond Protein Crackers had a very earthy & slightly dense texture to it. If your kids are used to snack foods made with flax seeds, almonds & hemp seeds, then they will most likely enjoy these crackers. I personally enjoyed the flavor of the onion & chives crackers, which paired nicely with the cheese. All that was missing for me was some dried apricots to go with the almonds.
