Shopping for my daughter can be tricky. While she does enjoy pretty & stylish clothes, my kiddo does not enjoy the shopping process of driving to the mall, trying on a bunch of clothes & standing in line with mommy to pay for them. I don’t blame her, I don’t exactly relish it either! 😉 However with family & holiday events on the horizon & the new Fall season coming up (although in LA it is not really a cool season) – nonetheless, my kiddo does need some new outfits.
Enter Sprouting Threads to the rescue! Sprouting Threads is a subscription-based children’s clothing service. They help busy parents style their children as they grow each season. I have friends who belong to a monthly subscription box for just about anything, so I was eager to try Sprouting Threads because it filled my immediate need!
Basically all that is required is for you to fill out a short questionnaire to build your kid(s) profile. It’s pretty easy & is a simple profile quiz, where you rate styles that suit your child. Sprouting Threads does charge a $20 styling fee per shipment, which is credited toward your order if you keep two or more new pieces. There are different pricing plans depending on how frequent you want a new outfit for your child.
The demographic that it targets is children 2-8 years old. My daughter is petite, so she can still fit in clothes meant for 8 year olds. I filled out the profile, added my credit card info and then just sat back & waited for my box! When it came, we were thrilled to open the box & see the goodies inside!
I just loved the first outfit! The denim pants are by Anthem of the Ants and the headband is by Tadpole & Lily.
I can’t get over the details on the Mimi and Maggie shirt. What a pretty print & the stitching is beautiful!
Next up is an adorable outfit from Tooby Doo! My daughter styled it with the Tadpole & Lily headband since she loves it so much. This Tooby Doo shirt-dress comes in a fab blue & white print. I love, love the belt that comes in a yellow contrasting color. Plus the button detail in the shoulder – so cute! I want this dress in my size! 🙂
All in all the experience I had with Sprouting Threads was easy-peasy. Included in your shipment is a prepaid return envelope. If the clothing doesn’t fit, simply return it & you won’t be charged for that item. It’s simple – keep what you like & return the rest!
