Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week? That can only mean one thing…the December holiday rush is on and it’s time to count down to Christmas! Since I live in the San Fernando Valley, I feel like Universal Studios Hollywood is right in my back yard. I’ve been there a few times during the past winter holidays and I just love their festivities.
What does Universal Studios Hollywood have to offer during the holidays? You can join the celebration of Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter throughout Hogsmeade!
They even have an acapella frog choir that sings holiday-themed songs!
You can also see the see the stunning holiday tree at Universal CityWalk Hollywood and enjoy the Grinch-tacular festivities with the Grinch and his dog Max during Grinchmas!
They have special holiday merchandise – you won’t want to leave empty handed and also holiday themed character encounters.
Of course, my favorite part of a theme park is eating the food! Here’s a sampling of the festive food and drinks that will be served up at Universal Studios Hollywood:
“Grinchmas” will feature Who-bilation favorites as Who-ville Spiral Croissant, Dumpit to Crumpit Treat, Who-bilicious Cinnamon Roll, 2 Sizes Too Small Cupcake, Heart Grew 3 Sizes Sugar Cookie and the Grinch™ Heart Lemonade.
Comfort foods and themed holiday fare available throughout the theme park: Crispy BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Slow Roasted Turkey Sandwich with Fries, Chili, Butternut Squash Soup and Clam Chowder in Bread Bowl, Turkey Quesadilla, Smoked Brisket Sandwich, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Chocolate Spiral Croissant, Pumpkin Spice Spiral Croissant, Sleigh Bells Irish Sour, Rudolph’s Red Rita, Hot Apple Toddy, Hot Espresso Martini, Make it Snappy Santa and Mrs. Claus’ Cinnamon Delight.
From Friday, November 24 through Monday, January 1, 2024, Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood features “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” and the spectacular dazzling light projection transformation of Hogwarts castle through “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” as well as “Grinchmas,” featuring a Who-lebration of fun fit for the Grinch, his faithful dog Max and a roster of Who-ville Whos.
