“Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” is a bloody good sequel that packs even more thrills and action than the first.

The movie picks up right after the original one leaves off. Barely surviving the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) is plunged into an even more unhinged game of survival. When her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) arrives at the hospital to reunite with Grace, they both become a target for the four rival families who are fighting for absolute control of the Council’s High Seat.

Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings franchise) plays the lawyer for Mr. Le Bail and is tasked with making sure the families follow the rules.

Rounding out the supporting cast is Sarah Michelle Gellar (Cruel Intentions), Shawn Hatosy (“The Pitt”), Nestor Carbonell (“The Morning Show”), and David Cronenberg (The Fly).

Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side. Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.

The sequel is once again directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. Fans of the original will be thrilled to know that the fights are even bloodier and more creative this time around.
