Fresh off winning best actress for “Poor Things,” Emma Stone has reunited with director Yorgos Lanthimos in “Kinds of Kindness.”
The film is a dark comedy and stars Jesse Plemons (Civil War), Willem Dafoe (Poor Things), Hong Chau (The Instigators), Margaret Qualley (Maid), and Joe Alwyn (Mary Queen of Scots).
“Kinds of Kindness” is a triptych fable following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life, a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person, and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.
If you’ve seen Yorgos Lanthimos other films, “The Favourite” or “The Lobster” then you know that this wholly original movie may leave you feeling perplexed and pleasantly surprised.
Emma Stone gives a captivating performance in “Kinds of Kindness.”
Starting today, October 8th, audiences will be able to purchase “Kinds of Kindness” on Blu-ray and/or DVD. You can also buy it on Digital from all major digital retailers (Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, etc.).
