I have quite a few friends who are big fans of cold-pressed juices. On occasion I have grabbed juices from the market after a workout, but until last week I had yet to try any from Pressed Juicery. So when I was invited to come down to the Studio City location to sample the newest seasonal flavors, I jumped at the chance!
I sampled three seasonal flavors. The first one contained spinach, romaine, kale, yuzu, pink lady apple, cucumber & jalapeno. It had a real kick to it because of the jalapeno! The second one that I tried was raspberry, rhubarb, watermelon, strawberry & pineapple. This tasted good. The last seasonal flavor (which just so happens to be my favorite) is the watermelon mint. It is SO refreshing & delicious!
Since it was my first time at Pressed Juicery, I also got to taste juices from their Greens, Roots, Fruits & Citrus product lines. The Green drink that I liked the most was the Greens 3. It has the same green veggies that are found in Green 2, plus ginger added in. While at the Studio City store, I learned that Greens 3 is the most popular green drink. I think it’s because of the ginger since it gives it an extra bite of flavor!
Pressed Juicery has a Signature Blends line of drinks. Are you a fan of Horchata, the cinnamon-vanilla rice drink? Well Pressed Juicery has a Coconut Cinnamon drink that has a very similar taste to Horchata. It is made up of coconut meat, coconut H2O & cinnamon. I recently had this drink after a hard workout. I’d say it was well deserved! 😉
Did you know that Carly de Castro, Heidi Gores and Hayden Slater (founders of Pressed Juicery) have written a book called JUICE: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing & Living Well? The book is a comprehensive guide to juicing that contains seventy-five recipes for their most popular juices including greens, roots, citrus, fruits, aloe & chlorophyll waters, as well as their signature blends. It outlines the benefits of juicing & contains testimonials from people whose lives have been changed for the better as a result of juicing.
I know that fans of Pressed Juicery would love to get their hands on this book. Well guess what?

Oh boy, that’s a tough question! I’ve never been but the one with jalapeno caught my eye. I’d probably have to try that one, but watermelon-mint sounds fantastic too! I have juiced here and there but would love a book to give me more direction and get more use out of my dusty juicer.

I would love the kale and watermelon/ mint 2 new juices, as long as there wasn’t a lot of the habanero.

Watermelon + Mint = heaven! I’ve had it before, and it is the most refreshing juice on this good green earth. I love juicing, and ever since we invested in a Vitamix, I’ve been obsessed. Would love this book to give me ideas!

One of each, please! I LOVE juice!
I have a juicer…but I sometimes fall off the juicing bandwagon as I get stuck in a “juicing the same ingredients” rut…not to mention cleaning the juicer isn’t my FAVE activity in the world! BUT, these look amazing! I might dust off the ol’ juicer and get to juicing business!
