Exploring the Rails with Thomas & Friends + Giveaway!

Posted on February 11, 2015 | Filed Under: Mommy Stuff | Tags: Discovery Cube Los Angeles, family fun in SFV, Thomas and Friends | 23 Comments

A few weeks ago, my family had the pleasure of attending a media preview for the new Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails exhibit at Discovery Cube Los Angeles (DCLA). Although we had been to this brand new museum before (located 15 minutes from our house in the Valley), we were super  excited to see the newest exhibit!

There is so much to see & do at this interactive Thomas & Friends exhibit! You can learn all about the inner workings of steam trains.

You can help put Percy back together by fixing his wobbly wheels!

They even have a separate room that’s just perfect for little ones who want to play with choo choo trains. I know my little nephew would have a blast sitting inside that semi-circle, just playing with those trains.

There are lights & sounds galore when you climb aboard Thomas’ cab & explore the engine’s inner workings. Check out this quick video & take a listen: http://instagram.com/p/yPpG2ACFBb/?modal=true

I saw that they do offer grade-specific field trips, but you’ll have to call them to get details & confirm.

Would really love to win this! My grandchildren would have soooooo much fun and I’d have even more just watching them enjoy themselves. We don’t get “out” too often as cannot afford it (I have custody of them – 5 & 7 years old) so this would be a magical day for all of us!!
