Last month we celebrated our Valentine’s Day morning together as a family at a fun gathering at The Awesome Playground, where we noshed on food provided by Mix n’ Munch of Pasadena & met with the folks from Bricks 4 Kidz.
The Awesome Playground is an indoor playground located on York Blvd in the Eagle Rock/Highland Park area of LA. Once you step inside, you’ll see the huge play area with toys, separate play rooms & seating/couches for parents to relax. There’s also a small stage area complete with red velvet curtains, just perfect for kids to pretend play & perhaps act out their favorite movie.
My daughter immediately went up to the craft table hosted by Bricks 4 Kidz, where they showed her how to make a necklace made out of Legos.
She also made this pretty keychain using my favorite colors!
Then it was time to meet with a different Bricks 4 Kidz instructor who gave Chloe & her dad a box full of Lego supplies & a tablet so they could get to work on some master building! The tablet showed step by step instructions on how to build a battery operated race car.
Afterwards, we went outside for some play time on the big inflatable slide.
We were hungry after all of that playing, craft making & master building. So we dined on grilled cheese, yogurt parfaits & cereal bowl from Mix n’ Munch.
Thanks to The Awesome Playground, Bricks 4 Kidz & Mix n’ Munch for hosting such a fun event for SoCal Lady Bloggers & our families!
