Readers of my blog know that I am a big fan of Disney. I also love to see music performed live. So when I found out that Disney Fantasia: Live in Concert is coming to the San Fernando Valley, I was over the moon with excitement!
Disney Fantasia will be performed live in concert at Valley Performing Arts Center (VPAC) in Northridge on Sunday, March 29th at 1pm.
The CSUN Symphony Orchestra, conducted by John Roscigno, will perform music from both Disney’s original Fantasia (1940) & Disney’s Fantasia 2000, all while the animation classics scroll in high definition on the big screen.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll see…
If you & your family want to see it, then you better hurry fast & purchase your tickets! There is only one performance on March 29th at 1pm. Tickets range from $30 – $60 and can be purchased at http://www.valleyperformingartscenter.org/calendar/disney-fantasia-live-in-concert/.
In my opinion, Disney plus live music equals a win-win for people of all ages! This looks to be a very family-friendly performance. Please note (per VPAC policy): Children 5 years & older are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. No lap seating allowed. All patrons must have a ticket regardless of age.
