Who likes shopping? Yep, me too! Online shopping has been a big help for me since I don’t always have time (or the patience) to go to a physical store & buy things. What if I were to tell you that there is a website that features a curated collection of high-quality, sustainably sourced goods AND that for every $10 you spend equals $1 that goes towards helping a child in need. Sounds like a win-win, right?
I believe that social media can help spread the word on being socially responsible, which is why I am sharing with you this awesome website called VivaioDays.com. When you make a purchase from VivaioDays, you are not only helping families around the world but you are making a difference for your own family by buying sustainably sourced goods. What makes a product sustainable according to VivaioDays? When a brand meets certain sustainability criteria such as: respect for the environment (i.e. using energy efficiencies &/or recyclable packaging materials); respect for the society (no child labor, use fair trade, ethical sourcing, etc.); respect for customers’ wellness (use organic ingredients, no toxic or harmful chemical ingredients).
So what can you buy from VivaioDays? I logged onto their website last month & purchased beauty products from John Masters Organics. John Masters Organics is a luxury beauty line. The products are made with organic content that are GMO-free & the company does not test on animals. I bought Geranium & Grapefruit Body Wash (fresh smell of grapefruit), Geranium & Grapefruit Body Milk (a light lotion with a citrus scent) & the Color Enhancing Conditioner for brown hair because, shhh…I need a little help with my hair color.
I have two food storage containers that I’ve been meaning to replace. They have long since gone to “storage container heaven” & when I looked under the Home tab of VivaioDays.com, I saw these stylish looking purple-colored, silicone & glass containers that are made by U•Konserve. These containers are great for on-the-go lunches & storing leftovers. They are oven safe, microwave safe & whoo hoo – dishwasher safe!
Continuing the purple, glass & silicone theme is my final purchase of a U•Konserve water bottle. It contains 20 oz of liquid & has become my new go-to water bottle when heading to the gym!
So who benefits from your purchase at VivaioDays.com? For every $10 you spend on the site, $1 (10%) pays for a day of school education, meal & healthcare to a Vivaio child. Who is a Vivaio child? He or she is a child in Africa that VivaioDays will assign to you so that you can support his/her education while you shop at VivaioDays.com. This is the Vivaio child that was assigned to me when I placed my order. She is a young girl named Marion.
Marion’s biography that is listed on VivaioDays.com states: “My name is Marion Natuhwera and I am 9 years old. I am in Primary 3 and I want to be a Nurse. I live with my parents, one brother and one sister. I love to help my mom in the gardens when she works and I like to eat the food that is grown. This is how my mom makes money for our family.”
This young girl is the same age as my daughter. I feel so fortunate that as a result of my purchases, money will go toward her education & living expenses. In my humble opinion, it truly pays to shop at VivaioDays.com!
Isn’t this a great concept? Why don’t you click on over to VivaioDays.com & let me know what item you would most like to purchase in the comments below!

This is great. I just ran out of a John Masters hair product I love. And that is great that they have a 20 oz. glass bottle (the one I currently have is only 14) Will have to check this out!
I had never heard of the John Masters product line until I shopped this website. His body products (gel wash & lotion) smell so great! When I run out of ’em, I’ll rebuy it from this site.
Btw, we have to get-together again soon Christie! 🙂
