Celebrating National Popcorn Day with Gaslamp Popcorn!

Posted on January 19, 2016 | Filed Under: Food, Product Reviews | Tags: Gaslamp Popcorn, National Popcorn Day, Popcorn Day | Leave a Comment

One of the things my family loves to eat while watching a movie is popcorn. You’ve heard the phrase “Netflix & chill” but in our house we throw on a DVD, break out the popcorn & chill! Since today is National Popcorn Day, I thought I’d share with you my newest finding – Gaslamp Popcorn!

Gaslamp Popcorn Movies

Gaslamp Popcorn has been around since 1998. The company started out in the Gaslamp District of San Diego with their famous kettle corn flavor. It is all handmade in small batches using only pure cane sugar, canola oil, sea salt & of course, popcorn! I just love their California license plate label on their packaging. 🙂

Gaslamp Popcorn comes in the following flavors: Kettle Corn, White Cheddar Popcorn, Sea Salt & Olive Oil, as well as my daughter’s personal favorite – Cinnamon Caramel Corn.

If you follow my blog, then you know that I tend to lean toward savory flavors. I’m a salty snack person, whereas the rest of my family has a sweet tooth. So my personal favorite flavor is White Cheddar & my hubby likes the original Kettle Corn. The popcorn tastes yummy, it is gluten-free & made with non-GMO ingredients.

So where can you buy this popcorn? Gaslamp Popcorn can only be bought in selected grocery stores in California. Click here to check out the store locations. However, you can purchase the popcorn online, which is a great thing since I just know you’ll want to try it!

For more information, check out Gaslamp Popcorn’s website here. Also don’t forget to “like” them on Facebook to get their latest updates!

So tell me, how will you celebrate National Popcorn Day? What is your favorite type of popcorn? Well, whatever it might be…enjoy!
