Brio Ice Cream Celebrates Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day!

Posted on February 17, 2016 | Filed Under: Food, Social Good | Tags: Brio Ice Cream, Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, Ice Cream for Breakfast | 8 Comments

Brio Ice Cream is a deliciously rich & creamy ice cream that is made with fresh whole milk. It comes in five flavors: Vanilla Caramel, Spring Strawberry, Coffee Latte, Mellow Dark Chocolate & Tropical Mango.

Brio - Samples

When I had my first spoonful of the Coffee Latte ice cream, it tasted so smooth & rich with flavor!

Brio - Coffee Flavor

All Brio ice creams are made with ingredients that are non-GMO & certified gluten-free.  Also the whole milk comes from Wisconsin dairy farms from cows that have not been treated with the synthetic growth hormone rBST. How great is that?!

Brio is sold in California, Illinois, New York & many locations in–between. For my family & friends that live in Hawaii, you’ll be happy to know that Brio Ice Cream is found in many Foodland locations! You can also purchase it online, directly from the Brio website in 4 oz single serving sizes or as a 14 oz pint.

There are a lot of fun “holidays” that revolve around food, like National Doughnut Day (which is in June) or National Popcorn Day (which took place last month). Thursday, February 18th is International Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. On this day we honor all children who have fought cancer or who are currently battling cancer. It’s a way for all of us to support kids who are fighting, remember those who have passed & to celebrate with the survivors of childhood cancer.

So tomorrow morning, I’ll be eating Brio ice cream for breakfast! If you want to join in on this celebration (with any ice cream of your choosing), you can commemorate the event by posting a picture of what you’re eating on social media, say who you are eating it for & use the hashtag #icecreamforbreakfast and/or #kidsgetcancertoo. To get additional details on Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, click on over to their Facebook page!

Eating ice cream at breakfast time is a one-time indulgence for a special cause. For more information on Brio Ice Cream, check out their website here & also their Facebook page (which is hosting a giveaway contest in conjunction with the holiday).

Disclosure: No monetary compensation was received for this post. I received complimentary Brio Ice Cream samples which helped facilitate this review. All images are my own unless otherwise noted. As always, my opinions are 100% my own.
