Did you know that March is National Nutrition Month? To celebrate this occasion, Modern Oats sent me samples of their premium oatmeal. You may remember that I wrote about Modern Oats before & how their oatmeal comes in six delicious flavors. Well I am happy to report that Modern Oats has recently added four new flavors to their product line!
So let’s check out these new flavors!
Who can resist whole grain rolled oats (which are certified gluten-free), cinnamon, Vermont maple sugar, pumpkin & sunflower seeds, brown sugar & chia seeds? I know I sure can’t!
This is my favorite of the four new Modern Oats flavors! Rolled oats with organic coconut sugar, shredded Filipino Coconut, California almonds & chia seeds – delicious!
For those who like their oatmeal au naturel (i.e. plain). The only ingredient in this container is certified gluten-free whole grain rolled oats. So maybe this isn’t a flavor per se, but it is a NEW blend from Modern Oats!
I personally like this option because then I can dress it up with my own fresh fruit. Today’s breakfast called for blackberries & oatmeal!
5 BERRY (NO SUGAR ADDED)
This last new premium oatmeal blend may sound familiar to you. Modern Oats introduced the 5 Berry flavor in their original product line. This blend is different because it is a “no sugar added” version, but you have the same yummy ingredients of rolled oats, almonds, pecans, wild blueberries, wild cranberries, strawberries, raspberries & Marion blackberries.
Modern Oats only uses certified gluten-free whole grain rolled oats. Additionally, just like with their original six flavors, these four new blends contain 6-8 grams of fiber & 8-9 grams of protein per cup (depending on the flavor).
