Who can resist a slider? These fun-sized mini burgers can be customized at Burgerim with different flavors of meat (even veggie!), toppings & burger buns.
After shopping at The Grove, my daughter & I drove over to the corner of Western Avenue & Melrose to have a late lunch at Burgerim. My kiddo loves cheeseburgers & fries, so I figured this would be the perfect place.
As soon as we walked in, we browsed the menu to see what to order. Do we order a duo (two sliders) or trio (3-pack)? For my daughter, it was pretty simple – a duo of beef burgers with cheese. Since she loves onion rings (just like her daddy), that was a no-brainer for her side dish.
Here’s what it looked like when her food was delivered. How cute is the packaging?!
It took me a minute (or 10, haha) to figure out what I wanted to eat. Did I want to eat a turkey, lamb, salmon, chicken or veggie burger? For those hungry for meat, they have wagyu, beef, dry aged, chorizo, merguez which is a spicy beef. I finally decided to get a duo with a dry aged slider with bacon, cheddar & jalapenos. For my other slider, I got wagyu with avocado & mushrooms.
It’s a thoughtful touch that Burgerim marks their boxes so that you know which one is which! Super helpful for people like me who are forgetful (yes, I have “Dory” syndrome at times).
I really loved the bacon, cheddar, jalapeno combo on the left! The wagyu slider on the right was pretty good too, as the meat was very tasty. I opted for fries, which are cut potato chip style. My kiddo couldn’t get enough of those fries.
Although these are mini burgers, each patty of meat is 2.8 ounces. That’s a lot of meat for a slider!
The duo was satisfying & very filling for me. I think the trio would be great for someone with a larger appetite, like my hubby. 🙂 They even have a party pack of 16 mini burgers! Wouldn’t that be awesome to have at your next party?!
There’s plenty of booth seating available along the side of the restaurant or at the burger bar.
Each table has a tray of condiments. My only suggestion would be to get some bottles of Sriracha.
The restaurant features not only sliders but they have chicken sandwiches, salads & even chicken wings! Desserts, iced tea, lemonade, bottled water & an awesome Coca Cola machine that dispenses every Coke product imaginable, round out the menu.
If you’re ever in this area of LA, Burgerim is worth trying out! For more info, visit their website here & don’t forget to check out their Facebook page for the latest updates.
