I often joke with my friends that I work, live & play in my yoga pants. Even if I’m not going to the gym, you can catch me wearing yoga pants! Now that I’ve discovered Lounge & Liv, which is a modern take on the “house dress” or muumuu, I’ve added one of their dresses into my weekly rotation.

Lounge & Liv offers four dress styles:
- Snap Silhouette: This dress features slight V-neck styling with four reinforced snaps that are easy to use. The side seams are slightly tapered & there are deep hidden pockets.
- Classic Crew Neck: Classic t-shirt styling with slightly tapered side seams & deep side pockets.
- Classic Zip: This cocoon style dress tapers slightly in toward the hem for a flattering silhouette.
- Mini Joeys: Classic A-line styling made from the same soft fabric as the adult dresses. Your kids will love the kangaroo pocket!
I recently wore the Classic Zip Dress in Navy Plaid to an event with my brown boots. It’s a fun Fall fashion find! I wore it belted so that you could see my boots better.
I’ve always been partial to V-neck shirts & dresses. What I like about the Classic Zip Dress is that you can pull the zipper down slightly to make it a deep “V” or a slight “V.”
I might buy the Snap Silhouette Dress next, but I also like the idea of having a Classic Crew Neck Dress (for me) & a Mini Joey Dress (for my kiddo) so that I can match with my daughter.

Since I’m a petite person, I would probably only wear my Classic Zip Dress unbelted in a casual setting, like when I’m running errands, working from home or doing school pick-up.
I’d wear my dress belted for when I go to special events & want to show a “little bit more leg.”
Now have I mentioned the feel of the fabric yet? It is super soft! Imagine your softest pajamas & then have it styled as a dress – this would be it!
Lounge & Liv uses two different fabrics for their dresses. Both are ultra-soft & super comfy! The first fabric is a rayon-spandex blend. It’s a light & flowy fabric that has the perfect amount of stretch & return. It’s great for warm summer days (or SoCal weather)! The second fabric is double brushed, which gives it a soft, buttery feel. It’s slightly thicker than the first fabric, but still light, flowy & ultra-soft!
