Gran Turismo Races Into Homes {Movie Review}

“Gran Turismo” is a heart-pounding, thrill ride of a movie. From the moment I turned on the movie at home, I was riveted to the screen.

Gran Turismo is based on the unbelievable true story of a team of unlikely underdogs – a struggling working-class gamer (Archie Madekwe), a failed former racecar driver (David Harbour), and an idealistic motorsport executive (Orlando Bloom). Together, they risk it all to take on the most elite sport in the world. Gran Turismo is an inspiring, thrilling, and action-packed story that proves that nothing is impossible when you’re fueled from within.

The film stars David Harbour (Stranger Things), Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings trilogy), Archie Madekwe (See), Darren Barnet (Never Have I Ever), Geri Halliwell Horner (Spice World) and Djimon Hounsou (Black Adam).

In my opinion, what made the movie is the relationship between race car driver Jann Mardenborough (actor Archie Madekwe) and David Harbour, who plays his mentor, Jack Salter. What starts out as a tense relationship, eventually turns into a respectful and loyal bond.
