Wonka Activity Guide

As a child, I loved reading Roald Dahl’s iconic book featuring Willy Wonka. Over the years, there have been a few movie versions about the owner of the Wonka Chocolate Factory and this latest iteration proves to be a must-see! Based on the extraordinary character at the center of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl’s most iconic children’s book and one of the best-selling children’s books of all time, “Wonka” tells the wondrous … [Read more...]

Last December, my family and I had the pleasure of watching an early screening of Migration an animated movie made by Illumination, the creators behind the Despicable Me, Minions and The Secret Life of Pets films. From the creators of "Despicable Me" comes an adventure-filled new comedy about overcoming your fears and opening yourself up to the world and its opportunities, filled with Illumination's signature subversive humor, … [Read more...]

“Poor Things” arrives on Digital at all major retailers on Tuesday, February 27th. To celebrate the release, I attended an event filled with food, fashion, and whimsical fun! Upon arrival at The Ebell of Los Angeles, I was greeted by the music of the film’s soundtrack. There was a cruise ship model, representing the steamer ship that takes Bella (Emma Stone) and Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo) from Lisbon to Paris. There were … [Read more...]

Next Goal Wins_FIRSTLOOK_01793-9b9f185

We recently watched the movie, “Next Goal Wins” and really got a kick out of it! The movie is written and directed by Academy Award winner Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit, Thor: Ragnarok). The film stars Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class, The Killer) as Thomas Rongen, a Dutch-American soccer coach, who acts slightly unhinged during his time as the American Samoa head coach. His task, to turn one of the world’s worst soccer team into … [Read more...]

Lisa Frankenstein_Liza Soberano-Kathryn Newton

“Lisa Frankenstein” is a campy, comedy horror movie. The look of the movie is really spot on, from the clothes and the jelly shoes to the crimped hair and using white out as nail polish. Kathryn Newton (“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”) nails her performance as … [Read more...]
