I was recently invited to Knott’s Berry Farm to tour the Ghost Town attractions. All opinions are my own. With summer break almost over, I decided a take my daughter to visit Knott's Berry Farm for one last hurrah before school goes back in session. As soon as we arrived, we headed straight for Ghost Town! In case you hadn't heard, Ghost Town is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a new interactive entertainment experience called … [Read more...]

Burgerim: Always More Than One {Foodie Review}

Posted on August 4, 2016 | Filed Under: Food | Tags: Burgerim, mini burgers, sliders | 2 Comments

Who can resist a slider? These fun-sized mini burgers can be customized at Burgerim with different flavors of meat (even veggie!), toppings & burger buns. After shopping at The Grove, my daughter & I drove over to the corner of Western Avenue & Melrose to have a late lunch at Burgerim. My kiddo loves cheeseburgers & fries, so I figured this would be the perfect place. As soon as we walked in, we browsed the menu to see … [Read more...]

I was provided with a complimentary copy of "Travels with Gannon & Wyatt: Hawaii." All opinions are my own. When most people think of Hawaii, images of surfers, sandy beaches & brightly colored fish come to mind. My parents were born in Hawaii & I’ve visited the islands many times, so I know there is much more to explore beyond that, with a culture that is rich in tradition. Travels with Gannon & Wyatt: Hawaii is the sixth … [Read more...]

Audiences were first introduced to Pete's Dragon back in the late 70s. Now a new generation can be introduced to the story in this updated classic! A reimagining of Disney's cherished family film, “Pete's Dragon” is the adventure of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliot who just so happens to be a dragon. For years, old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon … [Read more...]

Posted on July 28, 2016 | Filed Under: Local Events | Tags: Anaheim theme parks, Ghost Town Alive!, Knott's Berry Farm | 30 Comments

Knott's Berry Farm is celebrating Ghost Town's 75th Anniversary this year. With summer winding down, I can't think of a better way to commemorate our summer vacation then by visiting Knott's! The last time my family visited Knott's Berry Farm was in the springtime during their annual Boysenberry Festival. At that time, GhostRider was closed for a nine month restoration project. I'm happy to report that it is back in business & better … [Read more...]
