Getting Relief From Epsoak Epsom Salt + Giveaway!

Posted on March 30, 2016 | Filed Under: Product Reviews | Tags: Epsom Salt, salt soak, San Francisco Salt Company, SF Salt Co | 32 Comments

I love to exercise & work out but as a result my muscles get sore & fatigued. I’ve tried several different remedies for pain relief such as essential oils, sports massages, skin patches & even foam rolling. Someone had recommended doing a salt soak in the bath tub with Epsom Salt. This natural remedy will reduce inflammation to relieve pain & muscle cramps. For the last two years, it has been a ritual of mine to do a salt bath after a 5k or 10k. I find it so relaxing!

Recently I found out that San Francisco Salt Company sells Epsoak Epsom Salt bags in various scents that target your needs.

One thing I didn’t realize is that not all Epsom Salts are created equal. There are several different grades of Epsom salt, produced to purity standards depending on the purpose or intention. I’ve been buying my Epsom Salts in bulk at my local pharmacy. However I discovered that the Epsoak Epsom Salts from San Francisco Salt Company are premium quality.

When I received my Epsoak Epsom Salt Bundle last week, the first one that I wanted to try was the Muscle Soak. It contains Eucalyptus & Peppermint Essential Oils which is a natural remedy to soothe tired & aching muscles. I added two cups of this to my bath & afterwards I felt so refreshed & my muscles were more relaxed!

The next one that I tried was the Epsoak Epsom Salt Sleep Formula. This has lavender essential oils & adding it to a warm bath just before bedtime really helped me relax & unwind after a hectic Easter Sunday. I slept like a baby!

The last sample in my bundle was the Original Epsoak Epsom Salt. I mixed a tablespoon with my shower gel & used it to exfoliate my skin. I can also use it as a salt soak in the tub.

I would probably get the lavender soak! The muscle soak sounds amazing, and I could definitely use that; but I get stressed easily and sometimes it’s really hard for me to sleep. So I think I’d benefit more from the lavender soak,. 🙂 Great review & giveaway Jenn!

While I would love the sleep formula I’d get more use out of the muscle soak. My bubble baths tend to be just after my workouts these days.
