Travels with Gannon & Wyatt: Hawaii – Book Giveaway

Posted on August 2, 2016 | Filed Under: Books | Tags: adventure book series, Kid Literature, Travels with Gannon & Wyatt, YA Lit | 7 Comments

I was provided with a complimentary copy of “Travels with Gannon & Wyatt: Hawaii.” All opinions are my own.

When most people think of Hawaii, images of surfers, sandy beaches & brightly colored fish come to mind. My parents were born in Hawaii & I’ve visited the islands many times, so I know there is much more to explore beyond that, with a culture that is rich in tradition.

Travels with Gannon & Wyatt: Hawaii is the sixth book in the “Travels with Gannon & Wyatt” series. If you’re not familiar with TWG&W, it is a fictional adventure book series where twin brothers travel the world, documenting their journey through journals, photos & videos.

In this latest book, the brothers explore the beautiful landscapes of Hawaii.

They also learn about the royal Hawaiian culture while trying to solve a mystery involving King Kamehameha.

Along the way, they learn about the importance of cultural & environmental preservation of the Hawaiian islands. Oh & they do visit the beaches! On one such adventure, they came across this sea turtle relaxing on the beach. 🙂

In this book series, kids can travel the world through the eyes of Gannon & Wyatt, learning world geography, exploring cultures & native wildlife.

I highly recommend these books to parents of elementary school-aged children & above, as the book series is targeted to kids 8-12 years old.

Travels with Gannon & Wyatt: Hawaii goes on sale in September wherever books are sold. If you’d like more information, visit the Travels with Gannon & Wyatt website: http://travelswithgannonandwyatt.com/. It’s rich in content with videos of their latest travels, photos of their adventures & field notes from their research trips!
