I was recently invited to Knott’s Berry Farm to tour the Ghost Town attractions. All opinions are my own.
With summer break almost over, I decided a take my daughter to visit Knott’s Berry Farm for one last hurrah before school goes back in session.
As soon as we arrived, we headed straight for Ghost Town! In case you hadn’t heard, Ghost Town is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a new interactive entertainment experience called “Ghost Town Alive!” While walking towards the sheriff’s office, my kiddo spied a prospector with his donkey, who happily posed for a picture.
After my kiddo peeked into a jail cell near the sheriff’s office, we meandered over to the Livery Stable where she got to pet one of the horses.
One of the highlights in Ghost Town was our trip to the post office, where the postmaster asked us to deliver a letter for him to the Assay Office.
After delivering the letter to the Assay Office (this is where they test gold & other precious metals), I quickly snapped a picture. Much to my surprise, a thief jumped into the photo (did they have photobombing back in the Wild West?) & then proceeded to grab the gold out of the store’s safe. It was crazy & my daughter was thrilled to witness it!
Shortly after, the townspeople made an announcement & asked all of us to go help the sheriff. Take a look….

After the excitement with the robbery, we headed over to another part of Ghost Town so that my kiddo could pan for gold.
It was getting really warm, so we decided to head indoors to the Calico Saloon for a refreshing drink. My daughter was thoroughly entertained by the singers & dancers!
We went on other rides & attractions during our visit & also had some yummy food. However our main focus was to experience Ghost Town Alive! before it ends on September 5th.
Before we left the park, we had to check out Blockbuster Beagle On Ice!
The ice skating show was so fun. The ice skaters have great energy & perform amazing ice skating stunts, all while toe-tapping music plays in the background. It’s a definite must-see, but hurry as this show ends on August 21st!
