Haunt O’ Ween LA is back and better than ever! Instead of a drive-thru experience, attendees can leisurely walk through this immersive event with friends and family.
Last night, my family attended the Haunt ‘O Ween LA VIP Preview Night, located in Woodland Hills on the grounds of the Promenade shopping center.
There is so much to do for people of all ages – from rides like a merry-go-round and a small coaster, to fun carnival games, face-painting, haystack maze, trick-or-treating and of course, a pumpkin patch complete with an area to decorate your pumpkin!
The whole area has cool installations that are perfect for Instagram photos!
There are a couple of cool tunnels to walk through! The pumpkin tunnel shown below has pumpkin decorating stations, while the tunnel with the strobe lights and funhouse mirrors was very trippy!
Of course a Halloween event wouldn’t be complete without trick-or-treating!
For beverage options, Haunt O’ Ween LA has got you covered. There are drink stations dotted throughout the area, offering water, sodas and adult beverages.
In terms of food, on the night that I visited, there were limited options in the pumpkin patch area and the wait time was very long. I don’t recall seeing any vegan or gluten-free options and there weren’t any food trucks onsite that night. It’s possible that they were not available during the Media Night, so perhaps the food trucks will be available during the month-long event of October.
The good news is that the location of Haunt O’ Ween LA is close to the Westfield Topanga & The Village, so there are plenty of places to grab a meal or snack!
