Free Guy - Ryan Reynolds - Lil Rel Howery

20th Century Studios’ “Free Guy” opens this Friday, August 13th. Last week, I saw an early screening in Hollywood. I had heard some pretty interesting things about it and let me say, it did not disappoint! In Twentieth Century Studios’ epic adventure-comedy “Free Guy,” a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a … [Read more...]

Luca and Giulia

Luca is film about two young boys (Alberto Scorfano and Luca Paguro), who are on an adventure in an Italian seaside town. The animation is excellent, it is a Pixar film after all, and the storyline is both touching and funny. My family really enjoyed watching it when it was released earlier this year on Disney Plus! While in visiting the town of Portorosso, the boys meet a girl named Giulia Marcovaldo who is smart and feisty! However what … [Read more...]

I’m happy to say that those same humorous elements made its way into the film version of the Jungle Cruise. The film opens in … [Read more...]

Universal Studios - Secret Life of Pets

Since my family and I live in the San Fernando Valley, Universal Studios Hollywood has long been our go-to theme park to visit. The close proximity to our house makes it easy to pop over for a visit during the summer and especially at the holidays, when Hogwarts Castle lights up and there is a “Grinchmas” tree in another section of the theme park! There are several new attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood and my family got to enjoy them … [Read more...]

“Space Jam,” a live-action/animated sports comedy film starring NBA superstar Michael Jordan premiered in 1996. Twenty-five years later, “Space Jam: A New Legacy” arrives in theaters and HBO Max to dazzle a new generation of kids. Just like it’s predecessor, the sequel is a mix of animation and live-action, with the Looney Tunes characters playing basketball in a virtual world. Earlier this week I got to attend a special screening of … [Read more...]
