Roso Balsamic Glaze

Posted on December 16, 2014 | Filed Under: Food | Tags: balsamic vinegar, Roso Balsamic Glaze, Uncle Steve's Italian Specialties | 2 Comments

I love a good cheese plate. While my husband & daughter can happily munch on sweets at a party or family gathering, you can always find me over by the cheese & crackers! During the holiday season, the easiest thing for me to bring to any get-together is an assortment of cheeses, meats (prosciutto, salami, etc.), olives, crackers & bread (cut into small “finger food” pieces). I’ll even make a small plate for myself as an afternoon snack!

Take for instance, this yummy plate of sage cheddar, olive bread & balsamic vinegar. I like to dip my bread & cheese into the balsamic glaze. The tangy sweetness of the balsamic vinegar, brings out the flavor of any cheese.

I also like to use balsamic vinegar on salads as a dressing, on my sandwiches (in place of mayo) & even in cooking chicken. Here’s a chicken recipe that I can’t wait to try from Rachel Ray that uses balsamic vinegar!

The balsamic vinegar that I’ve been using is Roso Balsamic Glaze. It’s super flavorful & best of all, it’s fat free & gluten-free! So you get tons of flavor & no guilt. Take note, when using on salads or as a dipping sauce, a little goes a long way!  🙂

This bottle of balsamic vinegar is imported from Italy & it’s through Uncle Steve’s store that you can get your hands on it! Don’t forget to follow them on Twitter & Facebook to get the latest information!
