Black Bag is a clever and suspenseful spy movie that stars Cate Blanchett (Ocean’s Eight) and Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Dark Phoenix). The two leads play a married couple who work at the same British intelligence agency. The chemistry between them onscreen is electric!

From Director Steven Soderbergh, Black Bag is a gripping spy drama about legendary intelligence agents George Woodhouse and his beloved wife Kathryn. When she is suspected of betraying the nation, George faces the ultimate test – loyalty to his marriage or his country.
The phrase “black bag” refers to a covert operation (think wiretapping, video surveillance, etc.) and the characters in the movie often invoke these words when they are asked a direct question about an operation.

The movie is filled with intrigue and witty banter. While not heavy on the action, this psychological thriller serves up intense drama and misdirection in spades during a tight 90-minute movie.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Black Bag is the kind of movie that’s meant to be seen in a theater and is a great watch!

I love a good mystery thriller. This sounds like a great movie to check out. I haven’t been to the movies in a while and this looks like a nice option to see in the theaters.
I love Cate so I will for sure check this movie out when it is available. Anything that she is in is always spot on and I also love the actor too. I will mark my calendars for this one 😉
