Last month I had the pleasure of trying out a new restaurant called MidiCi. It is located in Sherman Oaks on Ventura Blvd & has been open since June 2015. Both the outside & inside are quite charming. I just love the saying that they have painted on the outside wall that faces Cedros Avenue. At MidiCi, they make Neapolitan pizza with only the freshest, most natural ingredients that are GMO-free. For friends who have a gluten … [Read more...]
Behind the Scenes at Aquarium of the Pacific
Last month my family was fortunate to get a behind-the-scenes tour of Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. We went during the weekend of Scarium of the Pacific & had a blast! There were kids dressed up in Halloween costumes & even the aquarium workers got in on the act! The lobby was full of painted pumpkins on display. Over the past few … [Read more...]

We usually pick out one or two DVDs to watch over the weekend & then when our daughter starts her winter vacation from school, we increase it to one movie per night until Christmas Day. As you can imagine, our DVD bookshelf has a wide selection of holiday movies. It's so fun to get cozy on the couch with our mugs of hot chocolate or hot … [Read more...]

The concept is similar to those pizza places where you pick your item & then order whatever toppings, sauces & meats that you want on top of … [Read more...]
