My daughter loves anything that lights up or glows. When she was a baby, she had a light-up turtle that projected stars onto the ceiling of her room. As a toddler, she loved to watch her shoes light-up when she stomped her feet on the ground. Now that she’s older, her love has evolved into pillows that glow-in-the-dark & also a rather large plastic ladybug that contains glow-in-the-dark multicolored beads. Mendocino Farms Giveaway
Mendocino Farms recently hosted a Family Fun Day at their Sherman Oaks location. It was a fun afternoon of eating, music and arts & crafts. There were several types of sandwiches, a pasta salad, sweet treats & drinks for everyone. While noshing on all of the great food, we rocked out to Rhythm Child, a family friendly band. FitBlogLA – Fitness Magazine’s Meet & Tweet

Check back by the end of the week & my blog post should be up. It was an amazing day thanks to Fitness Magazine, their great sponsors & the awesome speakers! … [Read more...]

I also read some of the books in the "What to Expect…" series but I ended up feeling overwhelmed with so much information. How I had longed for a simple, easy-to-read book that gave helpful advice on how to bond with your infant/toddler. Well moms, have I got a book for you! … [Read more...]
Mendocino Farms – New Restaurant Opening in Sherman Oaks!

I’ve always wanted to try their food, but just hadn’t made it out to their downtown Los Angeles or Fairfax locations. They are all about using farm fresh produce, sourced locally & you’ll be happy to note that their prices are comparable to other sandwich & salad cafes. This … [Read more...]
