A couple of weeks ago, I got to bring my daughter to the premiere of The Nut Job! It's a fun movie about a couple of squirrels, voiced by Will Arnett & Katherine Heigl. This past weekend, Elisabeth Wolf held a book reading & signing for her book Lulu in La La Land. I had heard about the book & thought it would be a perfect activity for me & my daughter to attend. On a warm afternoon, we headed out to the Barnes & Noble book store at the Americana in Glendale. Last week I attended Summer Sounds at the Hollywood Bowl with my daughter. This is a summer program for kids that feature arts & crafts, as well as a musical performance. The theme for this particular performance was American Bluegrass music. We arrived at the Hollywood Bowl around 10am. Parking in Lot B was a breeze & FREE (major plus).
